Help with weight management? advice?
Okay so I'm 15, I'm really athletic. I play volleyball, basketball, track and I take a dance class once a week. I also have a weights class in school so I lift 5 days a week. I usually run 3 to 5 miles on Saturday and do yoga or something like that. I eat a really balanced diet. I usually take in less that 20 % of fat in my diet, but get enough " good fat" in my diet. I get plenty of protein and I don't usually over eat. I'm still considerably overweight but I've been eating really healthy foods and changed my eating patterns for probably almost three years now. I've always had a sport or have been in conditioning classes of some type. I'm STILL gaining weight I have a really slow metabolism and I don't know why What can I do to maintain a healthy weight. I try everything I can and nothing is working. Do you think there is a change I could possibly have a thyroid or metabolic disorder?I know that muscle weighs more than fat, and I have a lot of muscle weight, but I also have excess body fat that I just want to GO.
I took this weight management pill last year..phentermine...and?
I put them in my car after i couldnt use them anymore and its been a year later and found the pills again and want to take them. It should be fine right? I understand the terms and stuff and i know how to be safe with them...
Does increasing fiber intake and taking multivitamins help with weight management?
I really want to lose some weight and heard that I should increase my daily fiber intake to 25 g by taking benefiber and that I should be taking a multivitamin daily. Does anyone know if this is true? I am not overweight or anything but I have gained weight recently that I'm not too happy about. I also don't go to the bathroom regularly which is really bad but it's a problem I have had for a long time. Plus I hardly drink any water unless I'm super thirsty because I find I can't force myself to since I hate the taste. Thanks.

I've tried many weight management programs and the products tasted good but I didn't lose that much weight from it. Can anyone recommend a program that has helped them?
What meal bars are the best for weight management?
I want to control my eating habits at work during lunch and save the $6 a day by buying meal replacement bars to carry in my purse with fruit to drink with water when I'm too busy to make my own lunch or lazy to eat healthy. Which ones should I get? I like Clif and Balance bars, but are there other suggestions?
Which is better for successful weight management?
I'm more of a one big meal a day then three normal meals...what would be better for permanent weight management? I'm trying to start young I'm 14 so that these habits will be second nature. So...portion control, moderately healthy foods, jogging.....or......one big meal which lasts me all day usually , healthyish foods, and jogging.
